Sounds like Livermore is coming . Would Ismael know him from the WBA connection? Maybe he feels Livermore is the one to bring experience and steal to the midfield but at 33..
Yes and apparently he has been training with us too . Could be someone else with a similar now though !
I do remember reading that, but can't remember where. I hope he's not expecting to be paid whilst he's on strike...
Somewhat surprisingly, the fee is apparently only €1m. I thought we paid a lot more than that for him...
Odd - I thought we signed him last season after Chelsea had released him. He certainly played some youth games for us.
Bachmann to go? Think he gets some unfair stick and done ok. Guess we do have a 6 million keeper in reserve !
We would need an adequate replacement first - from what we've seen, I doubt either Hamer or Okoye are up to the task.
I don't think Sarr said he wouldn't come back, I think it was just nasty people on twater saying it because he wasn't back for pre-season but he has been on international duty. All that said, I would imagine, as we intend to sell him or (very unlikely) extend his contract, that there is an agreement between Watford and his agent so very unlikely to return but with permission, definitely not on strike. A quite boy, when has he ever been trouble? Besides, one of the domino's fell today so it is possible a sale is not far away.
Earlier I posted this comment in the wrong thread (Where Are Our Ex-Players and Staff Now?): "Someone (who attended the meeting with Gino Pozzo) wrote on another forum that the club said that Ismaila Sarr, who was away on international duty with Senegal, has been given permission to return to Watford three weeks late (after pre-season training has started)."
And QPR I believe. Can't say that I know too much about him - apart from his stint at Bournemouth - but would be surprised if he's an upgrade on Bachman.
