    Seemed to go down very well and generally positive views but yes probably not in great physical shape hence retiring (in theory !)

    Pervis Estupinan going a bit over the top with this - "left back Pervis Estupinan can't wait to team up once again with Joao Pedro...Estupinan, who impressed on the left flank for Albion last season, is well aware of Pedro's talents having played together previously at Watford."

    As far as I can remember, they only played together for 20 minutes in a pre-season friendly against the Spuds - and Estupinan left for Villareal a week later.

    Southampton are looking to sign Hamza Choudhury on loan from Leicester.

    Brandon Mason's contract with Crawley cancelled by mutual consent - his career certainly nosedived after leaving us.

    I thought having signed a new deal with Leicester he would stay there ?

    Maybe the new manager doesn’t fancy him .

    Not sure HC would suit a Russel Martin team who are all based around possession play though

    Someone (who attended the meeting with Gino Pozzo) wrote on another forum that the club said that Ismaila Sarr, who was away on international duty with Senegal, has been given permission to return to Watford three weeks late (after pre-season training has started).

    No doubt then cue the usual meltdown on various media platforms .

    Already people are saying we need to replace him as they don’t trust the rest of the central defenders except Porteous.

    Seen as the man to get them to the 2026 World Cup finals series, New Zealand have appointed Darren Bazeley as their Head Coach.

    It shouldn't be too hard for them to qualify - the Oceania teams are now guaranteed a spot in the finals, and his opposition aren't particularly strong.
