It's very true. Since I've worked in music and am therefore on the inside, and doing it as a job rather than going to gigs for pleasure etc, I enjoy music way less.

Pretty jealous that they’re getting their signings sorted quickly. Some good business so far.

I suppose that is what happens when you make player sales quickly too. They knew Tielemans was off and have sold Maddison already.

I think a lot of our business will depend on who we sell and how much we get for them.

But to be fair today's music isn't like it used to be.

In theory we have had ages to be planning this season…. We’ve been down for a long time.

I understand that it’s difficult in reality to get deals over the line but we really need to see an improvement from the club in how they handle transfer windows. The last few have been a total shambles.

Hmm, is it good business to let Tielemans and Soyuncu run their contracts down and leave for free or sign Vestergaard on a long term deal? Winks and Coady may well turn out to be good signings but it will take more than that to fix the gigantic **** ups of previous windows.

Only January was a shambles IMO. And possibly the very end of the summer window when we were chasing players well out of our league.

January might not have been a shambles if it weren’t for our managerial issues. We have no idea why DCC and Orsic were bad buys, maybe a stable manager might have integrated them more. Onuachu was clearly signed for jonesball. I’m not defending the board at all, but at least they did something.

    I’m sure he will sign. He’s a Derrick. And Derrick’s don’t run.

The recruitment has been piss poor for years, hence why we fell through the trap door. That’s the sole reason we went down. Never replaced Wanyama,Lambert,Mane,Tadic,Pelle, the list goes on. One transfer window, get a grip, recruitment has been diabolical since Cortese left and it was left to Reed and the rest to deal us ****

Mane, Tadic & Pelle were signed after Cortese left, but I’ll give you the other two.

Do people think Italian banker Nicola Cortese had game-changing knowledge of English League 1 and Championship football players?

Les Reed and Paul Mitchell ran the show on that front since very early on. Admittedly, Mitchell leaving was a huge blow and we never adequately replaced him, so that is true.

Spurs did excellently to take Poch and Mitchell together, to be fair to them.
