It's got nothing to do with financial checks on the 11 bigger investors. They all would have been done collectively weeks ago now! As stated in the above article, its a problem between the buyers and sellers. What I would say is both parties are keeping very quiet, which is worrying. Where are the updates?
How? If it’s with the EFL then everything has been signed and sealed unless we’re now saying nothing has been submitted for ratification?
Then it's down to the 49ers. Radz wants out that's clear. There have been certain portions of the fan base who have hounded him out. The 49ers have lost their man in Marsch and now have a Champs club and a rebuild project they probably didn't want while the likes of Napoli. Inter and AC are circling the playing team. It's a massive ball ache. Expect them to turn around claim there's a problem with the takeover and back out.
Do you not think Radz would have made that public seeing as he wants the money and has started work at Sampdoria, I mean let it be known he isn’t holding things up?
Luke Ayling, Junior Firpo, Robin Koch, Marc Roca, Patrick Bamford, Jack Harrison, Luis Sinisterra and Georginio Rutter are all expected to be among the first crop of players reporting back. Adam Forshaw and Joel Robles have been invited, but are technically free agents after their contracts expired last week. Meanwhile, the likes of Illan Meslier, Liam Cooper, Brenden Aaronson, Crysencio Summerville, Rodrigo, Rasmus Kristensen, Wilfried Gnonto and Max Wober should get another week off after their international exertions. It remains to be seen whether there is a head coach in attendance. Leeds-live are backtracking. Last week they said that the players who were likely to be transferred would be told to stay away. Also, I thought Roca had already gone out on loan??
Hard to be impressed with how the fans have been dealt with since relegation. No statements of any meaning from any direction. In recent years, it's become obvious how little the fans mean to the average but this is piss poor. If Im being honest its becoming difficult to stay interested
Yeah, but Radz wants out and all I've seen from the 49ers is how much money they can get back off this takeover. Every Tom, Dick, and Harry has an investment in this team.
The worrying thing is that there have been so many false dawns and we're still playing with our balls
Club has put a tweet out “pre-season testing begins”. Oddly you don’t see any players being tested but it does show a tracksuit with a Gelhardt sticker on. My lack IT skills means I don’t know how to post it on here.
Daniel Farke is expected to be joined at Leeds by Assistant Head Coach Edmund Riemer, First-Team Coach Christopher John and Head of Performance Chris Domogalla, all of whom have previously worked together at Norwich, Krasnodar and Borussia Mönchengladbach.
Really difficult to get excited about the upcoming season. I’ve never been a fan of the American interest in our football clubs, and certainly not our own. I think the US mentality is geared towards solely profit. Whilst that should make me happy on one level (club finances), it doesn’t, because they don’t understand the mentality of this island’s football fans(European Super League, as an example). I want us to be successful, I want us to be financially savvy but not beholden to shareholders/venture capitalists. For my sins, I liked Radz and believed he cared enough to run us properly, which I suspect he did. He messed up on some of the transfer business (JKA and Rutter being the obvious ones), and also the replacement of Marcelo. However I believe he actually cared. I’m underwhelmed about US ownership, hopefully someone will remind me in 10 yrs time how stupid I was.
I thought it was to save money on a training top if he goes out on loan. Can just rip the sticker off and give the top to one of the others.
