I meant that somebody would bring up Kane and how he scored 0 goals or something in 3 consecutive loan spells. When he clearly is very much the exception not the rule. Be ****ing mental for us to spend £20m+ on someone like Delap
Pretty hilarious really, The bigger clubs are getting frustrated we aren't rolling over. They all know the fee wanted, Yet still feel that we just short hand us. Dummies
City rejected it, so there must be something about Liam. He would have fitted in with the other not quite ready young players we signed, but I”d bet a fair amount he is better than Tall Paul.
Yeah this is it really. As always the move completely depends on the player. Much as we can’t force someone like Aribo to **** off and sign for someone else, if a player wants to go and kicks up enough of a fuss then he will most likely get his move. I can’t see why players like Lavia or ABK would be willing to stay with interest being shown in them so if we are asking for high numbers they may go down the VVD/Lovren type route where they force it. Livramento is slightly different as it depends if he feels like he owes us something for rehab etc the last season. That is entirely up to him but I can see both sides to the argument and if I were in his shoes I’d probably favour leaving.
This reads as he will be In the first team, Surely not. The 2 year deal surely means he's a B team player.
What does ? That tweet or the underlying blog? Because that tweet doesn’t. Notes online suggest he can play across the back line which probably helps
Even for the b team it's a strange move, as we have Payne & Davis both there, although one would assume Payne would be lined up for a loan move (or, more hopefully pushing into the 1st team)
No Saint Derrick thread, so we’re treating him like a B team player. If Tino and KWP leave, then he will be first team
What is with this lowball ****. Just because we are in the Championship doesn’t mean we NEED to sell. Sure I imagine the players want to be in the PL, you can start building that relationship by actually showing them how much you value them, in cash.
Sounds lile we are playing hardball and demanding big fees, which is the right move. I do worry slightly about what happens if the fees we want come very late in the window, do we decide it is too late to sell or do we accept and rush through a deal for whoever is left out of our targets?
