I remember more than a few sneering and mocking comments when we brought in Guimaraes, along the lines of his lacking quality and being a huge waste of money... They obviously know their stuff.

It's been suggested that Lindstrom's asking price will be somewhere between £25m - £35m. Probably a more realistic option in that sense at least.

We're also starting to get a lot of links with a move for Lovro Majer and some murmurings that we're interested in signing Yannick Carrasco.

Genuinely don’t see the point unless we’re getting rid of either Almironor ASM. He wouldn’t be a starter for me and we need other positions first

Anyone know what the deal is with this Tonali Transfer? Why is it taking so long?

Lindstrom? I don't know enough about him to be able to rate him against what we already have.

Yes. I saw EditKev on Twitter do his competitions and he did it with ASM and he looked nowhere near even his levels.
I just don’t understand getting getting players in positions that aren’t a priority and players who are no better than what we have in the priority positions.

There's probably nothing in it then. Media are having a field day with making up rumours.

But then again he could be the next best thing since……

I’ve been impressed with Gordon for England soo am hopefully he’ll be like the proverbial new signing

Yeah, Gordon has potential. He's just not looked anywhere near a £45m player, but not his fault we paid that much. Hopefully he owns the price tag next season.

I’m hopefully he will justify it. Very raw but he appears to have the right attitude in terms of being coached. Him, Isak and A. N. Other as a front three. All hard working all can play across the front three. Could be a major nightmare for the opposition

We could of done worse than buying Angel Gomez from Lille as a replacement for Shelvey as he's looked great for the England 21's in this tournament playing as a deep playmaking DM. ManU wanted to keep him but he knew they wouldn't of given him match time in midfield ahead of that clown Fred so he went to Lille and looks to be maturing into a quality player now and would up our homegrown contingent for the CL.

Gordon just scored for England against Portugal<badger>
