    Still got £23m to spend

Think they're pretty solid buys. Winks will do well in the Championship and Coady probably should be at a Prem team.

And Maddison is kind of overrated anyway. Turns up for about 5 games a season and is injured alot. He's a classic Spurs buy, Dele Alli mk2

Coady is an odd one. Good player moved out of wolves for what ever reason.

Goes to Everton and arguebly one of better players until dyche comes in and says he’s too small to play cb so don’t buy him for the 4m fee.

Then goes to Leicester for 7m instead.

Good player with leadership qualities for them.

Coady is a very average player. He hasn't quite got the consistency or concentration levels so loses players. He's another classic lfc youth. Ping it 40 yards ll day.

Havertz reportedly the top earner at arsenal on 330k a week.

Can see that not going down too well with Saka/Odegaard who are twice the player havertz is.

2 simply isn’t enough in my eyes. We need 3 minimum.

I think we get one of Lavia or thuram. The only way we get both is if sell someone ie Thiago.

agreed. He’s protected somewhat in a back 3 but he’s nothing special.

yeah mate, whatever you like late at night.

you could run through the names in seriousness.

Clarkson is exactly the same. slight and not quick.but can ping a pass anywhere.

morton is similar, no pace but put a growth spurt on to be tall but slight.

all down the years something about our academy produces player after player that can stand and pass but we rarely produce the pace or power players.

Wilson is another for example. little red cheeks on him, no pace but a free kick better than trents and a shot like a cannon. no pace really.

we seem to try and poach this talent (see Clark, doak, Gordon) for pace at least even ibex and sterling and the like so we know it's needed but can't seem to bring any though.

    mason mounts.

we have the better end of the deal by putting the money down where we wanted, not to reward Chelsea for being greedy.

man utd said they would not pay the man utd tax and them within a week did.

no club should ever ever ever take even their second offer.

    they have absolutely zero will.

city have walked away from 3 or 4 to establish the ground rules for others

    compare and contrast

Considering the prices being paid this window Mount for £55m seems about right even if in the real world it is ridiculous .

Chelsea star Levi Colwill has refused to enter into negotiations over a new contract at Chelsea as he remains unconvinced by the ‘project’ at Stamford Bridge.
