I presume sboz will be the attacking RM. Can’t see him as the Salah back up tbh. He has the work rate to cover Trent, but has immense attacking ability to get us up the pitch, and into the box.

I really hope we also get Lavia and thuram …
You are just getting greedy as no way will we buy 4 midfielders the best you can hope for is Thuram plus a defender imo.

Two midfielders is good news to me. Third will be icing on the cake. If we get a defender too, I'm worried what we'll have to complain about. Might get very boring on here

Both can play on more than one position too. Only concern is that both are more attacking so no direct competition for Fabinho.

Although, AMC will cover the role when resting Fabinho I suspect

Yeah. The inverted forwards worked because the wide deliveries came from the FBs.
This why, regardless of how good Trent may be in midfield, I think we lose a lot from him not being out wide.

yes we do so I think really we need to go back to the basics with klopps game plan and see what he is trying to do.

pressing will come back. it 100% has to be the basis as broken play energises our team. (and salah)

finding a way to take the next step here tactically is important but giving any team in the prem the time and space to ping a ball into your empty rb channel is disastrous and really that was our issue imo.

too slow in own build up and then not intense enough in closing down the channels and outballs for these sides.
