People bought season tickets in the hope we'd at least try to challenge for promotion. When Pearson wasn't sacked last year people thought "I've had enough of this ****e" and decided not to get season tickets for this season.

I'd also say that Pearson got very little vocal support from fans compared to past managers, so no, I don't think it was a bullshit statement at all.

I was having a brief conversation with duffen just after the Brighton game via twitter and after a few days I did ask if he was planning a return to football. Needless to say no reply which at the time did get me thinking maybe something was in the Pipeline somewhere, was he the bad guy or just made to look it

What like Molby or Parkinson, eh?

Being you, you'd suggest they were good.

    Bit of both.

Nope, they were another two poor decisions by Adam Pearson. He's not that good at picking managers is he?

Ok I've learnt from experience that when you're off on one it becomes more of a competition than a rational discussion, so let me just ask again; Do you have any proof other than very debatable circumstancial evidence that most City fans disagree with the views of the majority on this board?

Has anyone on this board met TWF?

Could he be Duffen in disguise? Or some relative?

On the subject of club ties, I wear a club tie for work once or twice a week. Does this mean I am going to be the new chairman?

Not the best example. The fact he went to a game in a club tie is cause for concern as it might mean he has a future at the club.

The fact you go to work in one is cause for concern as you clearly don't have many ties or have no fashion sense

On a serious note, after the amount of money the Allams have spent to keep us afloat due to the mismanagment he was responsible for and after taking him to court for lining his pockets with club money. Why on earth would they let him rejoin the club in a similiar role to maybe do the same?!? Give Papa Allam some credit please!

You only have to read Duffen's Twitter site to see that everyone except Percy thinks he's a ****.

You only have to read this site to know that Percy thinks that being perceived as a **** is an achievement.

    Here's some questions for Percy:

    1. With regard to attendances, how do you think City's drop in attendances compare to the drop in attendances at other clubs in the Championship this season?

    2. Peter Taylor was very good for us, I've no idea if you slated him at the time, but how do you think his style of football compared to Pearson's?

    3. Do you still suck your thumb?

Can i answer them for him??

    1. None of them have Phil Brown as manager so they're all suffering the same as us
    2. If we had Phil Brown in charge we'd have got promoted as champions on both occaisions and first time of asking in the NPC
    3. Only when i'm not sucking Phil Brown's............

Judging by the fact that you're asking me... I'd say very similar?

I didn't slate him at the time, that's probably because we won all the time. If I'm honest my memory of Taylor's reign is too hazy to make a comparison, but I certainly didn't hate going to game's as much as I did under Pearson.

Everytime I see Pearsons style of football criticised I chuckle, as if we have had many teams that play any better. We aren't ever going to be brilliant unless some Arab pumps in billions to the club but it wont stop people thinking we should be playing like the best Premiership teams

    Wrong, some research required.

Love him or hate him, Pearson this season has provided football in a different class to that provided by Taylor(much as I appreciate what he did for us at the time and I didn't slag either of them).

He may have done, but he's a ****, which was my biggest issue with him. When a manager states in his first interview that he's only here because his old club didn't want him it's hard to get behind him.

People will always have unrealistic expectations about their team, like everything from potential signings to where they belong in the league standings, that's including City fans as well.

People see Barca and Spain & the like, playing their tippy tappy football and think they can play like that, but if you try play like that in this division you'll eventually come undone. Donny won plaudits under O'Driscoll for playing good football or "the right way", as the pundits believed, but were punished every time they came up against a decent team. But at least they play football in the right way, right?

After last December, we were doing all right away from home, which dragged us up the league into a comfortable mid table position, but it wasn't happening at the KC. However, before that season most said they'd be happy with mid table, what with all the off the field problems. Percy obviously believed we'd do a Newcastle and go straight back up, but with our problems off the field it wasn't going to happen.

At the start of this new season, it was a difficult few weeks at the beginning for the team, after a good pre-season. We did eventually get our act together after some pretty ordinary performances and some bad defeats and started clicking into gear. We were playing well at home and away and the most important thing was we we're also winning. I didn't forsee NP leaving. Most fans were gutted about it hence the outcry on here afterwards- calling him a snake, money grabber etc etc.

Last thing, Pearson lost respect for his dreariness, but our fans were criticising Browny for being too flamboyant in his reign, so our managers can't win, obviously.
