Presumably Situ has already signed,so the "four" won't include him. What about the guy from Fulham? Is he still on the radar? It will be very interesting, not to mention exciting, when January comes around.
The bare minumum the give Buck is a new bloody contract for the next 3 years and why wait til January..... what the feck are the board playing at??
Exactly what I was thinking swimaway. Shower him with niceties and tell him we want him to be our Sir Alex and build something very special. Hopefully he feels the same way
they have probably have offered a new contract to brendan but if you had read his article last week he wont sign until he knows if the board are on the same wave length as him, like i said ages ago we are lacking in strength and depth and we need to bring in 4 or even 5 players in January,,,,well well our brendan agrees with me as he wants to bring in at least 4 players and that wont be cheap, so before brendan signs anything he will want to know that he has the backing of the board.........listen to the man in the know...
Of course Dai... you are the man who knows it all! There must be an offer made and I am wrong........................Or maybe I shall quote the BBC 's story today which actually quotes Brendan himself...... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/15723920.stm And asked if he wanted to stay at Swansea, Rodgers replied: "Yes, for sure. "When the board and chairman decide to maybe see me as the person to be here for a few more years, that is something they will do in time. "Until that time comes, I have not thought about it so much. I'm just concentrating on making the club as successful as it can be. "I hope to retain our [Premier League] status which is vital for us. "And whether I get a new contract or not, until my very last breath here at Swansea City my quest will be relentless trying to make us improve every day on and off the field." Rodgers, who was part of Jose Mourinho's Chelsea coaching staff before managing Reading and Watford, guided Swansea into the Premier League for the first time. He has since been linked to the vacant Northern Ireland post before he distanced himself from the vacancy. But he added: "Until the moment comes when the club want to protect me for a longer period, there's no drama for me." Thanks very much Dai, but I will stick with that rather your ever present source!
Think I will go with an interview with brendan by the bbc as well, especially as they are quoting him in it, sorry Dai your sources are not exactly reliable, and haven't actually panned out once
sorry my old chum i know exactly what is in the pipe line just accept that i know and it wont hurt you so much....i told you all that we are in need of 4 or 5 players as i got the drift from my mates at the liberty at what is being talked about. like i say listen to the only fan in the know and i will give a few snippets that i think is relevant but most i keep to my self. but keep looking as i do drop a few clues here and there.......
Dai is it your same chums who said pratley had gone to forest ? really most people on here don't go for your super fan persona , and just grin when you post in such a way!
