Newcastles twitter base set themselves up nicely. They foolishly and childishly reacted to Maddison going to Spurs by spitting they were getting Szobozlai instead at the enemy. All they had to do was take a step back but their busted ego's saw them walk straight into another beating.
Yeah I agree I think Newcastle will do well to finish top 6. I fully expect tantrums If they start badly which is far from unlikely looking at the 1st 3 games. I suppose they could start well though we'll see.
Sounds like Newcastle were gazumped late on this one ... Liverpool just piled in offered the release clause. Newcastle had no chance anyway because even if they offered it the player wanted Liverpool which is just a cold hard truth.
