Signing an injured player after banging the robustness drum so far would certainly bring some interesting reactions
The last report of Vinagre was that he had an achilles issues that may need surgery. This is a big assumption but it could be the fact is that after seeking a specialist its been determined he doesn't need surgery and if thats the case the recovery times drops from 4 months to about 8 weeks
What we're doing is what every non parachute club is doing. We're all in the same boat with limits on investment
Arguably we are in a worse state than some given our revenue streams have only just started increasing
Medicals aren't really to figure out if the player is injured at the time of the medical (unless its not been disclosed and the player is trying to pull a fast one) its more to figure out the long term health. Players have and will continue to pass the medical phase while injured
Guess we will have to wait to find out. I can only hope its the case of the club has done their due diligence and its been determined he doesn't need surgery
If someone's out long term with a a torn Achilles, we wouldn't be signing him. Unless is buy option is about £50k
You're asking for proof that he's not injured, but there's very little evidence that he is injured. Yet again this seems like a narrative running way out of control on this board.
