That's what the 80 million would give you. You'll be stuck with the pigeon for years if he leaves for free
Apart from City, he would be head and shoulders the best forward at any club in the PL so i don't think that is going to be an issue
This Bob Wallis ? my old man would be known to sing this to Mum when he would " occasionally "come home from the pub 3 sheets in the wind Although Mums name wasn't Mary Ellen
We’d be able to afford a decent one with or without Kane’s money. Better to have him one more year, especially as we need to do a lot of surgery to the squad as it is, worrying about replacing him this window is something we could really do without but if Bayern pay up then we might just have to.
Kane’s not leaving. Levy will drive too hard a bargain for Bayern For all his ability and superstar status, Kane is a comfy slipper. He has no ego. He won’t uproot his family; he has no desire to win a German title akin to winning a Russian election; he won’t agitate for a move even if he wants it. Kane will be playing for Spurs next season.
That's something he certainly isn't ! I would imagine he is somewhat richer than most of us on here are, he is also getting paid a fortune for doing something he loves in an environment that he is clearly happy in, these are hardly the definitions of a poor man are they?
This is more of an experiment to see if it shows up, since Exlax is doing such a good job running Twitter that he's locked the entire platform behind the login page now
All this stuff is very strange, is he our player yet ? I would have thought that Udogie would have come to England straight after the end of the season to undergo a medical and a brief for the coming season , not a conversation via Twitter via his agent
He done his medical last summer. I think the agent is just affirming he’s part of the plans this season as there were rumours some clubs wanted to loan him.
I get that, I would expect him to undergo another medical and training at the club before the Asian tour, most likely I should ignore Twitter
All the players not involved in the most recent internationals are back in the coming days, as Ange officially starts on the 3rd. Everyone else back a week later, apart from Destiny and Skipp, as they’re at the U21 Euros. They’ll all obviously do medical checks their first day back, as they always do.
The slightly happier realty is that our chance of challenging for the PL next season is somewhere in-between Leicester's, when they won it, and Arsenal's last season when they challenged. We have an embarrassment of attacking riches, a new highly driven, positively minded, manager with a point to prove and no European midweek distractions. If we fix the defensive line issues, steady the defensive side of the midfield with an addition or two, and get the attack side working with any kind efficiency based on the quality we have, why wouldn't we be challenging? Yes, I know that chances of all of that happening in one or two windows are slim, especially with good old Spurs, but I imagine that Postecoglou will bet on himself to succeed with speed in at least one of these domestic competitions, Kane or no Kane, I also imagine he'd rather do it with Kane than without.
Things to look out for over the weekend, then (remember the vast majority of football contracts run to the end of the June each year). - Winks to Leicester after his Italian loan officially finishes. - Confirmation of Porro’s loan being made permanent. - Any interest in Lenglet to perhaps do the rounds again, as while we announced he was going back to Barca a while ago, he’s technically our player to the end of the month. - Potential movements on the rest of our loan army hotting up.
Schrodinger's Lenglet is really starting to do my head in We're somehow both in negotiations to bring him back permanently, and have as much interest in bringing him back as I do in having to explain to people who Miranda Sings is (thank you very much, Colleen Ballinger and your ukulele nonpology for grooming allegations...)
