Very clever from the Aussies, playing on our egos.
England can't resist and it was clear what was going to happen.
The Aussie attack probably is the best in the world, although not so effective with the odious Lyon crocked.
Can't see Brook lasting much longer.

We've got a seriously long tail aswell here, just let the ****ers burn themselves out bowling short for 2 hours. No Lyon who was the chief threat, we have to think about the situation before we completely throw away the match !

Brook trying to hit every ball for 4 or 6. Almost bowled with a horrible hack over long on. Aussies can't believe their luck

He's such a good player that's the annoying thing. He has so many shots and hits the ball so hard, he has no need to slog every ball. Much the Sam as what has happened to Stokes' batting since he became captain !
 
All Aussie fielders out reach by boundary & they hit it down there throats, poor play & could got two’s from almost every ball with the field set like that
 
Well played Stokes, used his head for the situation. We need to bat as long as possible tomorrow and at least get parity.
Any lead could be vital with Lyon looking ended for at least the remainder of this game.

England's day I reckon.
The game is so evenly poised.
If it hadn't been for that ego driven, mad 45 minutes, England would be favourites imo.
Amazingly, Stokes finally played like the very good batsman he is and steadied the ship.
Not sure how Brook is still there, but he could score quickly tomorrow.
Lyon's injury could be pivotal, but England haven't had Wood or Archer either.
Felt sorry for Ducket. Superb innings.
Everything to play for.
