I was just thinking about society, any-one else think that it has become dysfunctional? Money was invented as an easier option to the barter and trade method, and fair enough its helped us advance immensely, in fact we wouldnât have these huge cities without it. However anyone else think we have gone crazy attaching so much importance to it, we are brought up to get the best grades, get the best job, get a family and gain as much personal wealth as possible. Assets are the number one goal for billions of people. People even kill themselves when they get into debt, when debt is merely numbers in a computer system, which is not in fact real. Everything in society is about personal gainâs even hospitals (mainly in America to be fair) now concentrate to some extent on profit. âHe that believes that money will do everything, is suspected that he will do everything for moneyâ. (Donât know who it is by) Has society truly lost track of what lifeâs about and do they just care about bits of paper which they believe will bring them success and happiness, yet have no real value in reality, are we that out of touch? Is there an alternative?
Tis easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. True Christianity is the alternative
Actually I would be able to live off the land because my grandparents had a farm, and my parents had a vegetable garden as did my Primary school so I know about growing and harvesting crops.
