Why are we suddenly bowling full length middle pace balls. They are batting half way down the wicket 90mph bouncers are required

There's no Wood to bowl them at that pace though ! England look really off it, that 1st test defeat has definitely left a mental scar.

This isn't exactly going to plan.....

Now we'll see what bazball is like when having to chase a large 1st innings total with class bowlers steaming in......whole new ball game

Anderson bowls England's 9th no ball of the day.
He's looked tidy, but nothing like we're used to in these conditions.
I still suspect this may be a series too far for such a great bowler.

What they did wrong was to bowl too full to Head when he first came in.
Now he's seeing it like a ****ing football they're bowling short.
Aussies destroying us now!
We've been pathetic today. Seems a real lack of energy both on the field and off the from us. Crims have been very fortunate at times but our bowling, fielding and discipline have been shocking. Poor Jim looks ended

Not quite such a disastrous day with those two late wickets, but after having been put in, the Aussies easily took the day.
England looked rather under par today.
Lot's of injuries just compounding the disappointment.

A very lacklustre performance by England today, not taking advantage of favourable weather conditions. Some excuse in the slowness of the pitch, though. We really need to bowl them out tomorrow for not too many and then bat well to keep in touch. Pope's fitness could be crucial.
