I think we'll be fine. And as for recruitment - all the demand in our players shows that (certainly with young players) we've done pretty bloody brilliantly over the last couple of seasons. We don't need to sell anyone more cheaply than we want to. I also think Martin will be good for players like Edozie, Larios and Diallo. I've woken up in a positive mood.
Worth reminding ourselves absolute worst case scenario, if everyone linked with moves leaves then the core squad looks something like this: Bazunu Bree Stephens Carletta-Carr Larios Smallbone Diallo Sulemana S Armstrong Edozie A Armstrong Mara, U23s. That's with a very conservative £250m raised in transfer fees. You'd have to think we'd then go after target players who can help us get out of this league as well as the next lot of talent either on loan or permanently. That's not a terrible worst case scenario for me.

Yeah I think it’s almost impossible to guess who will be here by the end of the transfer window. We are going to lose players that we expected to keep, but I think we will also keep some players we expected to lose.

As anyone who has followed football for longer than 10 minutes knows this time of year is silly season for rumours. Players getting linked all over the place, some rumours will have truth to them, others won’t. Without having inside info it is very hard to work out the true ones from the bullshit ones at this stage so may aswell sit back and see what happens.

JWP has been linked with just about every PL club in London, Lavia has so much interest it's going to drive a bidding war, Alcaraz has been linked with clubs all over Europe plus South America, Sulemana - again clubs in Europe have been linked, Now Tino and Newcastle. That's quite a lot to me.
Lavia and JWP are a foregone conclusion. There's been nothing concrete about the others really. Hopefully clubs will be put off by the fact that we aren't lowering our prices just because of relegation.
I know Lavia was always going to go, most likely JWP as well. Just pointing out there are plenty of rumours about all the players we would ideally want to keep.
Tella Edozie & Sulemana are going to absolutely cook in the championship. Now we just need to get a solid midfield and defence behind them

The club want £25m-£30m for Tino, and the news about Fraser has only really been pushed by Newcastle-based journalists, not ones close to Saints. Can't imagine we actually want him as part of any deal.
The medias feeding frenzy on our players is astonishing but guess we shouldn’t be surprised as our history says we will sell all our best players Clubs being linked with clubs is fine as long as the club management stick to their guns and ask significant transfer fees as that will put a lot of clubs off and leave us with a decent selection of our existing squad stilling being in place because they actually aren’t as good as the fee we are demanding All the time SR stick to their guns and not start discounting transfer fees I will be happy as that’s all we can do
