I will if we sell him for the sums mentioned. He's not going for £12M.

If we sell Tino at all I'm going to buy a season ticket just so I can rip up a season ticket. That'll show 'em.

It looks like we will have no one left to play for us at this rate ! I would have to say that I never expected the likes of JWP, KWP, Alcaraz, Adams, Livramento, Lavia, Sulemana or Bella-Kotchap to stay. There is no way be are gping to be able to retain any of these players. Even youngester like Bazunu and Doyle are going to attract bigger clubs. That is the reality of the drop into the Championship, especially when the owners have got a poor pedigree with running the club and the new manager is an unkown quantity. As for the remaining players signed in the January 2023 transfer window, I am sure the club will be keep to off load them pretty quickly so that the embarrassment of buying these players is sweptunder the carpet.

As I said last month, the squad next season will be unfamiliar and therefore I think people in here are right to be reserved in predicting where we will finish next May. I can see only the two Armstrongs , Mara, McCathy and Aribo remaining from the curret set up. Of these, the only two I would not miss would be Stuart Armstrong and Alex McCarthy. I would have to say that I am very much hoping that Adam Armstrong gets binned as I am far from convinced that he has the kind of football brain necessary to play at Championship level despite his track record which seems unbelievable given how inept he has been with us. For my money, one of our most useless signings and probably a signing who has had such a detrimental effect on the peromance of the squad due to his inability to find the net. More than any other player in the current squad, he needs to be moved on.

Granted, but if I was a young, twenty-something footballer I would be asking what are the benefits of staying with Saints ? We can refuse a bid but the reality is that Southampton have always buckled whenver we have had a decent player who is looking for a move away. If all these departures happen, we are going to be left with the players I mentioned plus maybe Dilallo and Djenepo. We have a relatively unproven manager at the helm, are playing in a lower league where promotion will be far fom guaranteed and have owners who have been proven to be naive and impotent. There is also less media coverage and this will not help internal aspirations. Southampton have all this to cope with in addition to the inability to pay Premiership wages. It will take several seasons to repair the damage brought by SR and most young players do not have that patience.

You didn't get into a disagreement with the club over car parking at the beginning of 10/11 did you?

Hopefully those working at the club answer those questions with a bit more enthusiasm

Newcastle signing Tino is a huge gamble considering his lack of football and the very real possibility he won’t be as good as his early promise. Surely KWP would be a more sensible recruitment

Has Ryan Manning been discussed here at all? One of the Swans better performers according to fans I know ( I think he was fans player of the season) rejected a new contract so soon a free agent.Full back (lb) with a good delivery. Martin a fan.

He'd likely want to be first choice which might be the case should Perraud leave.

I don't like the thought of us signing too many clearly championship level players but surprised his name's not cropped up.

I figured teams would want to let tino get back to full fitness and come in for him in January. Surprised if someone is willing to meet our valuation now.

Shows how good he is, I guess

Was hoping we would only lose one of KWP or Livramento. In fact I’m as surprised at the lack of news regarding KWP going elsewhere so far.

It would be disappointing if Livramento leaves, but it is the reality of where we are at the moment. What really isn’t acceptable is getting rinsed.

£12m? Who the **** do they think they are? They are absolutely swimming in cash, we should be charging them a premium rate.

In the last few weeks The Telegraph has also claimed that Newcastle are 'closing in' on Nicolo Barella (now not happening), Felix Nmecha (signing for Dortmund), Romeo Lavia, James Maddison, Tyler Adams, and Derry Scherhant. Don't get me started on the rumours in all the other newspapers. Newcastle are set to buy about fifty players if you believe everything you read.

Got to love a player who's paid to sit on his arse all season using the clubs medical/rehab facilities contributing **** all to a team and then pissing off come the first opportunity.

We are going to be left with sod all players at this rate, and SR's recruitment hasn't exactly been great.

Get a grip. It's just a rumour. Tino hasn't said anything. And do you think he was faking his injury? <doh>
