got high hopes for di resta bright , certainly one to look out for when he gets a competitive drive --
I'm looking forward to a Button, di Resta, Hamilton podium. I don't care in what order, would just be nice to see 3 union jacks up there one day. 2 very good drivers and one with bags of potential, could happen.
fraid we differ there bright i am not english/ british / so i dont share the patriotic buzz on here , i cant recall ever seeing 3 union jacks on the podium in my yrs of watching F1 , however when di resta does eventually get a decent drive the likelyhood of it happening is increased --
I'm not sure what you're getting at here Martial, unless it is simply provocative. Of course, I like to see people of my own nationality do well but this doesn't mean 'greats' must be restricted to such a myopic minority does it? I don't see nationality as any more relevant than the colour of one's skinâ¦
just screwing with you cc -- i remember you well on the old bbc 606 and of course on here for being very patriotic towards the english drivers , nothing what so ever wrong with that by the way ----
Ha! It's comforting to know I have both your sympathy and permission. Thanks. P.S. Can I remind you that I said "Vettel is great"? I thought I'd made this clear with nice bold type - and I'm sure you know he's neither English nor British.
i know what you said cc - you also said some of the other current drivers were also great , which i presume from your previous patriotic viewpoint that meant the english drivers -- i could"nt resist having a bit of fun with you ---
I'm playing too! Current greats in no particular order: Alonso Hamilton Button Vettel (and possibly some other German bloke… )
If you have the right guy in mind, my respect for you will increase a bit. Paco is right, they may be good/great... but none of the above names are legends of the sport.
those drivers are on the same level as senna , prost , clark , fangio - as i said cc - dont make me laugh just before my wife gives me my dinner it will give me indigestion --
Glock. (He actually drove a fantastic race on Sunday) I suppose it depends what you define as a legend Paco. To me, a legend is a traditional story, sometimes popularly regarded as historical but not actually authenticated. One should remember that legends are also closely related to mythology…
Cosi: To me, a legend is a traditional story, sometimes popularly regarded as historical but not actually authenticated. Respect is a two-way thing. Your past behaviour has been less than respectful. Therefore, I do not seek your respect. However, I am always open to the possibility that change can become permanent…
