Yaya Toure’s confirmed he’s joining Standard Liege as assistant manager.

He’s thanked Spurs and given special mentions to Dean Rastrick and Chris Powell.

Shame he’s gone but understandable choice to make, I’d imagine a lot of the young players will have enjoyed learning from him over the past 18 months.

Pretty big gig for a first job but they are after all his boyhood club.

They're by a distance the top club in Israel and play in a stadium that seats almost 30,000. Semi-regulars in European group stage competition too so he'll have his work cut out.

That noise you just heard was @Spurlock experiencing an existential dilemma.

Lawrence Vigouroux has joined Burnley on a 3 year deal.
His contract with Orient expired this summer, so there's no fee.
