they cannot. amortisation can only be done over 5 years after they started this crap. they changed the rules to block them trying to do this.
Ridiculous. Can see this destroying English football as we know it (I won't say ruin because I think money did that some time ago), it's like the cheat mode on FM/CM as been activated but also playing multiplayer so you can cheat even more.
If they enable it, it'll be interesting to see what the fans want to see happen with our club... Sell to oil money to join them but run the risk of the club being destroyed along with the others. Or stick it out lower down the league and be the best of the rest until it passes and the oil clubs concentrate on overcoming their new found money troubles
in the end the way the world is going these oil states are not going to be around in 20 years. the reality of climate change still has not sunk in at all and events will rapidly overtake all of this. when it's unliveable over there and the type of stuff thats gone on in Syria overtakes the regions people will find there's very little backing these powers. that's.my opinion but the corruption in fifa and uefa runs bone deep. I'd not be shocked if saudis already own a good portion of fifa.
Al-Ahli are awaiting Roberto Firmino's response after holding talks with him The Saudi side are reportedly already preparing medical tests for the forward Negotiations are said to be ongoing and the former Liverpool man may join them
Nat Phillips a target for Soton Rhys Williams to be loaned to Aberdeen Honestly we should just sell these two for a reasonable price and let them get on with their careers.
I'd reckon nobody wants them and we are recouping some small amount of cash via small loan fees. rhys Williams is slow and just hasn't stuck at all in any loan so this move up Norf is his last chance saloon. Phillips is being grossly overpaid by us so again nobody will put the cash down to actually buy him. not even for 5 or 7 mil now. again a very slow player. has any of this been formally announced?
Just rumours, hence 'Transfer Rumour Thread' Williams is very likely to be loaned though, so far Aberdeen are the only interested party.
just checking if i need to update the summer tracker thread So far We signed a midfielder Jones is now "world class" so no new midfielders needed the stadium might get done A new pitch might get laid Lucas is a legend.
We should be hearing shortly about adrian. He either wants to "go home" or will take the money and sit there for another year. I expect this after july 1 and before the preseason starts.
Probably one of the most underrated players of the last 3/4 years. Super consistent, kept things easy and could do everything in that midfield. then last couple years started to chip in with the goals to show was more to his game. Very much the equivalent of our Gini I think (just with more goals). Don’t get made captain of that city team unless you’re a very good player and able to command a lot of respect. Think he’ll be a huge loss to them
Absolute quality, they will miss him. Another from Dortmund,Peps first signing and........an estimated £20m
Things moving slowly for all on the transfer front. There’s normally one or two transfers that gets them going as players wait for certain clubs. Once City make their move, am hoping that things start to get moving.
