I know its all about opinion but I cant believe the lack of Gutierrez in peoples choices, hes been outstanding this season both defensively and going forward and has practically been the reason why our left side has been so solid.

It's tough to call just 5 as to date the vast majority of players have all played well when called upon.

Krul and the back 4 have been brilliant.
Cabaye, Tiote and Jonas have done reallt well. Guthrie has been very good covering for injuries. Gosling hasn'r really got up to speed yet. Obertan has been a mixed bag but I see him getting better. Marv hasn't had enough game time to form an opinion.

Ba and Best have been hardworking and causing defences problems and Ba's scoring has been great. Shola has been well... Shola at his loveable inconsistent best.

Ben Arfa scares defences when he's on the ball but also needs more time on the pitch until he can be rated properly.

Colo, Ba and Krul have been the standout performers for me, followed by Taylor and Jonas. Raylor's scored some nice goals but hasnt been amazing defensively. Tiote and Cabaye have been great but Cabaye's gone missing a few times and Tiote was very poor in his first 2 or 3 games.

Krul - wow best young keeper in the world for me
Saylor - tremendous and concentration levels have improved hugely. Finally looks ready to fulfill his obvious potential to be a top centre back
Colo - not only the best player in our team, but as good as any in the league at doing his job this year. Everything is done with class too.
Jonas - Workrate is simply freakish. Again I'm biased but one of the best players in the league this year for me. yes the likes of David Silva are beautiful to watch and have been stunning but I'd have Jonas right up there because defending is just as important
Raylor or Cabaye- Can't decide between these two. Cabaye has done well. Yes he has had a couple of quiet games, but relative to the time he has had in the PL, he's done really well. I'd struggle to leave out Raylor though because he has been a revelation and is still improving week by week. Some of his blocks and defensive clearances have been game changing. And then there is his goals......................
