They obviously watched this video too many times:

Maybe it's a Sheffield thing and they've decided to be the new Def Leppard?
Joe Elliott's voice seems to be holding up better, though.

I saw on Twitter that we were after Van the Man !!! Imho he's not done a good album since Tupole Honey and he will not help our defence one bit
Put on my glasses to see it was Van De Ven, I think we have more chance of Van Morrison as Liverpool are sniffing around De Ven

I cant claim to be a fan of either The Smiths or Rick Astley, and they don't seem to have much in common musically, but currently on the woodsies stage at Glastonbury we have Rick Astley sings the Smiths (something Morrissey never did!) - And you know what its actually pretty good.

Love Sparks! Exceptionally talented, great longevity, but terribly underrated in the history of popular music.

It wasn't that bad - she's 77 FFS! and having Glen Matlock on bass made up for any weaknesses! :emoticon-0148-yes:

GYBR was a masterpiece! Recorded over only 3-4 days. Funeral for a Friend has been in my playlist for 45 years! <laugh>
