He joined Guns and Roses for a song playing guitar and another band playing drums can't remember who. Point it's though go there and enjoy instead of being all self important. I really think it's done as a festival. Modern crap for people who have no interest in music.
He definitely looked very excited to be out on stage again, will be a headliner next year I'd imagine.
Supposed to be on with Elton too, along with Britney Spears, Harry Styles and Kate Bush, one's I won't be watching. Will watch on catch up if Kate does make an appearance, I can fast forward it.
Nah they'll line up Duran Duran or some other ****ing ****. Elton John going to be garbage later nailed on.
The wife said should we put EJ on as it's supposed to be his last gig, I said you ****ing hate him. Strange creatures women. Alt-J live now
Just watched Queens of the Stone Age full set on BBC iplayer. Comfortably far and away the best, and musically excellent, set of any band I saw over the weekend, by a mile. Didn't watch them all obviously, but there were way too many legends. Of the headliners, Arctic Monkeys were very good, but not as good as when I saw them last week. Elton was nice and (I hear) a great set. Went to bed half way through so will have to catch the rest of it. Guns and Roses were an embarrassing parody.
