Has to be this, we have nothing to gain delaying the announcement if the interviews have finished. I’d love to know what structures he wants in place in order to sign
Someone must be close. as if the rumours are true with Rasmus someone's made a decision to let him go as he wanted to stay right? if we had no manager you don't just let players go before a Manager comes in and has a look at his stock. end of the day it makes sense we have Rasmus,Ayling,Drameh at RB. if we letting Rasmus go it leaves two with one being Drameh who will want game time to be convinced of staying. getting rid of Rasmus opens that door for him but also its a bit of a risk letting him go if Drameh has not been convinced yet. hopefully whoever is coming in has made that decision already because i find it baffling in letting Rasmus go when Drameh could go too could understand if he wanted out but I'm sure he said somewhere on one of his social media pages he was happy to stay. The new coach must of had some thumbs up sign hopefully wanting Drameh as number one and Ayling as the experienced backup as we might aswell keep him as we will get nowt for him if he left its all about building a biggish squad for the championship. then ship him out next season if we go up. Ayling will still be a big backup player in the championship and see no sense in letting him go for the peanuts we would receive.
I get that but doesn't a manager get to see what he has to play with first. Mckennie wasn't ours and would of cost to much to buy but just as well as he was gash.
These interviews were presentations too. These are the players you have that I would keep, so Siddas could be right plus the owners will want to reduce costs and make a few quid on some players. Rasmussen saves them £2m in wages plus half a million loan fee? Or it could be a straight sale
Apparently we are interested in Nat Phillips a CB from Liverpool, played a few times for them and also been sent out on loan a couple of times 6' 3" likes to play on the left of a pairing would cost around £10m
Only thing I don’t get is this. The championship one of the best watched leagues in Europe and possibly (or probably) a better standard than some of the top divisions like Austria, for example, that we’ve signed players from: Some, like Gnonto, there’s no problem with his international place. Mancini went with him from the off before he was established anywhere.
Rodrigo looks like being bought outright by a Qatari club and also Leo Hjelde being bought outright by Salernitano in Seria A
Thought he wanted to get back in the Spanish squad? Better standard in the championship so I guess he’s going for the money.
