The cops in New Jersey weren't informed of that incident until 2016. They tried to investigate it but were hampered by the time that had past and the fact all the people involved were from Scotland. There has been further allegations since then and they say they know of at least 5 other kids who were abused including one American kid over several visits by CBC over the years.

New Jersey lawyers have urged victims to come forward and are said to be waiting to see the outcome of the class action in Scotland before they proceed.
