    Well, I can't do more than sympathise with your supporters situation. However, football is a very small world and works within a set of both written and un-written rules. Break them and their will be a cost to pay.

    You post a lot of tosh. Think about the situation we were in at the time of the Carroll signing and think about whether money ball was used. We signed the leagues top scorer from the sale of our best striker, we have him on a long deal and while he failed to settle at first he is starting to show real potential.

    Look I wish Liverpool well, however they really were sold a championship striker for 35 million. He lacks technique and pace.

    When you compare him to strikers of similar stature and price range (Dzeko and Drogba, say); one has to agree.

    Because dezeko took to the premier league like a duck to water didn't he... And drogba was in his mid-20's when you signed him, a strikers peak

    If Carroll was a championship player he wouldn't be playing in the England team
