I resisted the temptation to tell him they could have it ready for this coming Tuesday. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Whilst there’s a correlation between low prices, poor worker’s rights and products of **** quality, it’s not a rule. The Arab Gulf states have worker conditions not too far from indentured servitude or even slavery and have some of the best hotels in the world. And things in those countries and exported from them tend to be expensive as ****.
I wasn’t suggesting they were well paid (though the ones that make for me are, as I’m trading at the premium level), but the minimum wage in Turkey is £360 a month and Portugal is £740 a month, they’re a far cry from places like Bangladesh and Sri Lanka where the minimum wage is as low as £12.50 a month.
[QUOTE="originallambrettaman, post: 16793228, member: Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Cambodia and Bangladesh are where you go for sweatshops,Internationally speaking, Turkey is fairly expensive.[/QUOTE] Not so much Pakistan now. They had to really clean up their act a few years back. We have to jump through hoops for our certification and pay the staff far more than they would get elsewhere. Its the same next door where they're making for Kappa, Nike, Hummel and Champion. Those brands wouldn't risk it now and regularly send people to check. China however is a totally different matter. The guys at errea have told me some horror stories from there.
****ing great. And if Sky move the Wednesday game to anything but the Saturday, and the Coventry game gets moved to Friday for the rugby, it could well be the end of October at the earliest by time I'm back
Selfishly I like Friday night home games, but really feel for travelling fans if it ****s their plans up (I was never travelling to Brizzle next season regardless)
Rervers are at home on the Friday as well apparently. No idea what made City choose Friday when there's a Sunday and BH Monday available that weekend. Probably just want an excuse to do one of those bloody light shows
Are there any restrictions on the alternative dates they can choose though? Either because of EFL rules or policing as you cannot stage a game if the local plod say they cannot police it.
Think of the problems Rovers fans have. Some say cannot make the long journey to Leeds on a Sunday for a 5pm kick off as they will get back too late as the next day is a working day. Are they in bed by 9pm? Good job they don’t have to make the journeys, many during the week necessitating time off work and getting back at 2,3 or 4 am like football fans have to.
Smart move considering Saturday (23rd) is the day before Christmas eve..Gives anyone travelling down there a better chance of getting home before the transport system grinds to a halt.
What the **** has that got to do with moving our two games? Any chance you have to bring RL into it you jump at the chance, give it a rest FFS.
Only quoting from the comments section in the HDM. Showing the parochial attitude too many in .Hull have.
Why not? Lots of other non City stuff on here. And it is to do with Hull unlike a lot of other stuff.
