Who owns this place? I've seen it but but not seen it open. I will pop in.

They're still made in this country, in the same factory, the only issue now is that as a consequence they cost £340.00.

Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Cambodia and Bangladesh are where you go for sweatshops,Internationally speaking, Turkey is fairly expensive.

I don't actually know them, but the head tailor is Gillian Long, who's a Saville Row trained coat maker.

I bought a pair of DM's in a Millet's closing down sale(original ox bloods) about 20 years ago,£25.Never got round to wearing them, still boxed, and as I was having a clear out recently I got my daughter to flog a load of stuff on some internet shop they use nowadays. Some bloke bought them (from memory £60).He got back in touch with my Daughter later that day..."Where did you get those boots?Have you got any more?, They're made in England jobs and you can't get them like this anymore"..."If you'd have advertised them as such, you'd have got a lot more for them".

You could probably have got £200 for them.

The Made in England Docs I’ve got now are nubuck and the leather is quite thin and flexible by design anyway. In fact, the nubuck is so flexible that they didn’t even need breaking-in. They were comfortable right out the box. I agree about Solovair though.

Kalman, the definition of a sad little man. He and Syd are like two peas in a pod.

Putting someone on ignore isn’t cancel culture. It’s the equivalent of changing the channel on the TV.

But good quality. I, like a lot of others wish we had hung on to that stuff. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Original, fishtail parkas are another thing people must regret chucking out.

How much are they for a tailor-made shroud?

Tripe, if I was watching channel 606 on TV I'd want access to every programme on there. That is all. :emoticon-0125-mmm:

When I first kept reading on the internet about people complaining about people slipping into their DMs my first thought was don’t leave then lying around then, put them in the wardrobe.
