It was more about the manipulation of our mainstream media and the way that the public will lap up and believe what is shoved down their throat without question.

I’m guessing that many will already be picking out Prigozhin as the new ‘poster boy’

The more worrying aspect is who gets control of the nukes once this has all played out

Well they'd be very wrong to do so.
Imagine Wagner in charge of all those nukes.

Absolutely Col…..as I’ve said before, conflict shouldn’t be about taking sides and more often than not, it’s bad guys against bad guys.
Can still see our media painting Wagner as the ‘good guys’, which they clearly are not

Wagner is so definitely not a good guy.

Putin is marginally a better a good guy....( marginally)
Wagner wants to use tactical nuclear weapons vs Ukraine. Even putin is holding off from that!!!

    BBC Monitoring

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has held talks with Wagner mercenary group head Yevgeny Prigozhin during which Prigozhin agreed to stop his troops and "de-escalate the situation", Rossiya 24 news channel said.

"Prigozhin accepted Lukashenko's proposal to stop the movement of Wagner in Russian territory and on further steps to de-escalate tension," Rossiya 24 said, quoting Lukashenko's press service.

It also said it was proving "possible to find an acceptable variant of de-escalating [the situation] with security guarantees for Wagner PMC's fighters".

Rossiya 24 said the conversation had been agreed with Putin.

What was the purpose? Hope for his sake, Prigozhin has a good food taster. Putin will be sending down an additive shortly

Think he'll be trying to force Putins hand and topple Soigu and Gerasimov and give him more power in Ukraine? If so, that's not good news....if Putin offs Prigozhin thru underhand means **** knows what happens then

I’m off to Estonia for a few days at the end of next week. Interesting times. I expect the full might of NATO to protect me and ensure I enjoy my holiday, even if the next door neighbour has descended into civil war by then.

It's made Putin look weak to the world and his own countryman. Prigozhin has done a deal with Lukashenko to lay off Putin and stand down his troops. Prig is either very smart or very dumb. Putin will be as forgiving as Stalin would have been.
