I understand, but I’m concerned we don’t get too many in and block our academy from having a route to the first team, I also want Bell and Conway to have plenty of game time, because otherwise we’ll stop their growth. We have enough forwards imo

You can only play a limited number of strikers, besides 10’s these days sit behind the strikers, Scott’s best position is arguably 10.

 

The asking price of £25m is to show intent, eliminates unintelligent teams coming in with stupid bids like £10 -20 million.
once on the hook the negotiations start regarding the sale and what is expected and agreed.... add ons .. performances ... depending on team how many in a full season expected/ with or without injury ... international appearances ..on going!? ... % fee sell on clause .. .. or simply a fee that covers all? say £35m.....

 

I don’t blame Wilson for wanting to leave, his injury has put him too far down the pecking order, he needs to be playing and he’s not likely to get much game time. Plus of course we’ve changed from playing wing backs, it’s a shame I had high hopes for him. I think if he moves to a club where he plays regularly he could become a very good player.

I have to say I think he’s had a falling out with NP, possibly about not getting game time I don’t know, but NP’s attitude about him when asked about his exclusion at the end of last season, when defensive numbers were low, suggested to he wasn’t overly impressed with Wilson.
