Everyone is on a transition year next season it's looking like!! This the time to go Deep and go Hard!! **** em!! Let's ****ing go boys!!
We have a long way to go before we can compete with them under FFP. Their turnover is nearly 4X ours. Hopefully they can continue buying **** players and pay them too much but I think Ten Haag is starting to turn that around.
I thought Ashworth wasn’t going to Romania and it was just Nickson? I presumd DA was staying to get other deals lined up from Italian clubs?
As a southerner I can confirm a dogs arse would be a nicer place to live than anywhere other than the very VERY affluent areas of central London and a few nice areas on the outskirts as well but in general you go city center for all the sparkly lights and entertainment etc. then pray you get home without being stabbed, mugged, raped or murdered. Even the nice areas on the outskirts aren't immune. I work around Sutton and 75% of the time it's lovely but this happened earlier in the year - they say "stabbed" but the kid were attacked with a machete by other 15 y/o's - I mean wtaf? School holidays are like the ****ing purge around here! https://www.mylondon.news/news/south-london-news/sutton-stabbing-live-updates-boy-26230016
Possibly not plane spotting of creeping around bushes with my camera but I bet DA will go join the rest of the scouting/medial team out there after he's done in Milan.
Maxence Caqueret looked really classy for France 21's against Italy last night, he's playing at Lyon so much like Bruno G he'd probably be available for much cheaper than similar talents at bigger clubs.
Or loyalty like Winston's. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...n-Bogarde-strange-story-Chelsea-s-misfit.html
There's an ongoing campaign from a group of Chelsea fans to get a stand ironically named the Winston Bogarde Stand.
I mean honestly you could go through the top 10 squads there and pick a player or two from each and have a world class team. England, Germany, Belgium, Holland, Spain, Italy, France, Portugal, Croatia, Switzerland, Czech Republic...
It's ironic how the SSN transfer headlines still only focus on the usual suspects, even though we have a deal literally going through for a top quality player from Milan. It's all just about Man City, Arsenal, Man United, Chelsea (vying for Rice, Havertz, Mount, Caicedo). That said, I did notice we are now part of a new 'big 7' in the club by club 'rumours' section further down...
