Everton would be good, West Ham and Villa too. All proper clubs with passionate fan bases and all that. Fulham though? That's just sad. Let's face it, he doesn't need to worry about the money; 100k a week for the past few years ffs.
He doesn’t need to worry, but he almost certainly will want to make as much as he can. Why do you think players still go to China/Saudi Arabia/MLS despite earning millions. At his age this will be his last big contract you’d think. Sure Villa/West Ham/Everton are bigger clubs. Everton are utter garbage and are more likely to go down in the next couple of years than Fulham, Villa he’d be more of a bench player and West Ham makes sense but according to that tweet he prefers a Fulham move
Sheffield Utd, Ipswich, Birmingham, Reading. All finished top 10 in season one, then got relegated in season two. Leeds and Wigan both needed final day wins to avoid relegation in season two, otherwise they'd be in there too. I could easily see Fulham struggling next season.
Would be classic Saints to sign Tom Davies. Have spent the last 4/5 years listening to one of my mates who is a big Everton fan moan constantly about how **** he is so it’s become a running joke where I regularly join in on laughing at how bad he is. I take full responsibility if he does sign for us
Carlton Palmer is back and saying £30 to £35 so it must be true! He is about as good as the random tidbits people tell me that they have heard!
Everton can F off! Perhaps if JWP wants to wave as we get promoted and they go down. Everton have been on the ledge of relegation for too many years, only to escape by the skin of their teeth, oh and by "allegedly" failing the FFP rules. Btw I can't stand them. Lol
Spotrac's numbers are purely fictional as far as I can tell. I compared their numbers against those in our accounts a couple years back and they were miles off, to an extent that couldn't be rationally justified by bonuses and add-ons.
