I think hes done ok so far, we must remember hes 21.I say give him a go at CM while Stevies out.We are strugglin for goals from midfield big time, I say drop Adam, Hendo more likely to get in the box than Adam, and can chase back better. This also means Dirk plays on the right, who is also good for a goal

He scored a cracking goal against bolton, set up the winner away to stoke in the cup and nearly grabbed the winner against Utd, which isn't so bad given he's only started about half our games. He's always going to get a tough time since he plays for us and cost a decent amount of money, such is the current agenda, but it should be clear to most the kid has potential. There's a reason Utd fans were going wild over him before that England game completely smeared his reputation (proof can follow if necessary).

He has a cracking cross, a decent eye for a pass, and is very dynamic (apart from Shelvey, the way he drives forward is as close to Gerrard as we have), and apart from the shortcomings he himself has admitted to- mainly being scared of taking risks with his passes as he's now under a lot of scrutiny playing for us- he has shown enough for me that i'll trust in those who signed him that he will be worth it.

At the end of the day it was an initial £16mil for one of the key players in a premier league team who is both young and English, is captain of the under 21s and who, by all accounts, has a great attitude. If that's a gamble then we can line him up with the likes of Bale who quite reasonably needed a season or 2 to develop into a consistent first team player. People will laugh, but given the fair-weather nature of most of these Skysports era fans and journalists who is really surprised? Commoli has done similar before and given that this squad will only get better the fact that we're playing such good football and getting ok results means i'm quite happy to see Jordan Henderson develop with time into a cracking player like our squad as a whole.

Most people will ignore this as it isn't a bullet point opinion that can make a few bad results go away, but for some who know being a supporter can be a slog (and let's be honest as Liverpool fans we've been spoiled anyway), then we can appreciate we're very much on the verge of some great times.

Apart from selling £22m of shirts, not very well!

He can't handle the pressure of playing for a big club challenging for trophies

If Henderson does fail, we can always sell him for an over-inflated price to chelsea, they seem to like paying over the odds for our players?

How much was it for the unfit portugese player approaching 30, who can't tackle or play for 90 minutes? £12m and I bet if we took wages in to consideration we'd find that the total transfer value comes close to if not more then the Henderson deal

Yeah, we found that too- that's why we moved him on.
It's good that you've got him working in the shop selling stuff though.

Henderson is already world class imo. I'd take him over Iniesta.

Henderson just needs to score against Chelsea this weekend, then Roman will take him in the summer for £30m.
