Nothing to do with any of that but both Farke and Parker have promotions on their CV from this division so have a track record.
Agreed. So in that case what could the reasoning be if the imminent appointment of Vieira is true? I should imagine he’d be on more money than the other two as well.
So underwhelming and depressing, I was hoping we'd pull a surprise out the hat, a name not mentioned who we had to look up on Wiki (like Bielsa) and we all thought he could be the one. Instead it's been a constant barrage of Gerrard, Parker, Farke and Vieira, it's gone full circlce, worst to ever so slightly better back to equal the worse again. I actually think I would prefer Gerrard over Vieira and now Farke and Parker seem world class to the other two. I can't believe it has taken us all this time to come up with these four names, the club are stating lots of data studied to ensure we get the right man, FFS what data, two have two promotions the other two don't. All four failed miserably in the PL so appoint Parker or Farke and sack them if they don't win promotion and it they do still sack them
Viera is a very poor manager. Hopefully he brings his boots as he'd probably be our best midfielder even now. He'll be gone after the January transfer window closes. We've just wasted our first years parachute payments on a coach who can't get us promoted. Sickened by this decision. Sack the board.
This is the worry for me, players were happy he was sacked. As a footnote, my man on the ground is saying no decision as been made yet and doesn't think one will be made until.over the weekend, expect something early next week.
Yep, players soon got over the fact it was Patrick Viera. How the hell he couldn't get the talent at Palace to score goals is incredible. Can't imagine what he'll do with Bamford.
Makes Rafa Benitez look attack-minded in comparison. Negative coach. Not what we need at all. No point in grinding out results in the Championship.
