Serious potential to pick up 15 points out of 15 in August?

I thought the same, dev !! On paper, not a particularly difficult start to the season, is it ?

In the Carabao Cup, Pompey have been drawn away to Forest Green Rovers in the first round.

The tie will take place in the week commencing 7 August, with the final scheduled for Wembley on Sunday, 25 February.

Don't give that team that play in white any legitimacy by mentioning their name. If the aberration is to continue in this competition, the least we can do is pretend they don't exist.

On a lighter note, I may try to get down for the opening fixture. Living so far from Portsmouth nowadays, I can only go whenever I'm able to stay with one of my siblings... Plus opening fixtures are good because you haven't abandoned hope yet.

Best of luck for the season Pompey, apart from tomorrow and Boxing Day obviously!

Whatever the result tomorrow I think it will be a good game played in an excellent atmosphere <cheers>

Same to you Bluebaldee !! I'm hoping we can edge the match tomorrow for all three points. Apparently, the match has been sold out.

Where will Mr Barton be tomorrow, sitting in the Rover's coach in the carpark listening on the radio?!

I'm travelling down from the West Midlands tonight to stay the night at my sister's. She, I, my bro in law and two or three of my nephews and nieces are going. A three hour journey because of engineering works. But then hearing of this storm Antoni has stressed me out as I'm terrified the game will be called off, which is a ridiculous thing to have to worry about for the opening game of the season. Keep checking the weather in Portsmouth.... Looks like it's gonna rain in the morning for a few hours then maybe showers but it is windy which will hopefully help (and make for some interesting goal kicks). The home of football has good drainage right?????
