I put most of the younger lads' injuries down to the rigours of first team football. They will be better for it next season. Alese looks a real athlete. Hume and Cirkin flying plus Ballard and Batth and that's great options at the back for us. Real attacking intent to support the front 3 as well.

Same here, quite a few of them hadn't played that much football and were thrust into the thick of things.

'Mens' footy as well. They gave it their best but hopefully next season their bodies are more robust.

Should be yeah, I think that was the main reason for our injury list last season. One of the drawbacks of having the youngest squad in the league I guess. Some bad luck on top of that with injuries to senior players as well and it's a problem.

Aye, it was all a bit of a 'perfect storm' in the end with Alese, Ballard and Batth missing out. All covering the same position......but hey ho.........we go again.

Cirkin will be physically stronger, so will Alese and fingers crossed Huggins.

Looking back, not only were Humes performances outrageous, but so was his fitness record. He didn't miss a game once he got in the side iirc

Neil as well, he soaked up a lot of fouls and stayed injury free.
