His wife was given an unelected health role. He is an MP she is a life peer. The issue has gone nowhere. He says Rishi Sunak needs to rebuild trust in the Conservative Party. I’d argue the interconnected lot of them being ****ed off by the electorate might be the first step of rebuilding politics with many more to go.
On every Question Time, BBC phone in, Jeremy Vine, Laura Kuenssberg, etc, the Tories are being absolutely hammered and ridiculed but their devotees and supporters, like Rees Mogg, are behaving as if it's just a storm in a bone china tea cup. They just don't see how badly they've let people down ... ... or, more likely, don't care. Meanwhile they maintain we should all forget a very recent PM, in Boris Johnson, and 'move on' ... ... yet continually reference Blair, Brown, Milliband. Absofuckinlutely deluded
It is a proper stockpile. Surely it has to have come from a govt contract somewhere. It isnt jusy some chancer that couldnt flog it in my opinion. I think 2 companies were appointed to dispose of stuff that was useless. Supposed to be burning it to make power, unless my memory is failing again. Like you say it beggars belief. Lots of times in my career I have had to procure large contracts at pace. Never have I been so hopeless at securing quality as this episode appears.
