People just download it and send it using Russian services which still operate. Any sort of messaging service would be a decent one. In truth it's because shooting Russians fkn dead is what Ukrainian soldiers want to see on their feed and it boosts moral.
Maybe but I don't think videos of Ukrainians shooting unarmed (or at very least no weapons drawn) Russians is going to gain them much sympathy with Russians. The result would be wanting to fan the flames of war, not put them out.
It will definitely convince people that being conscripted against their will is a negative life choice. If I shown u and ur kids that video and u decided "I'm furious! I'm going over there myself!!" I reckon you'd have to be a mental handicap
The world is fooked mate. So I can watch a Ukranian killing loads of Russians, but I'm not allowed to see any Russian media, because our government blocked it.
There's thousands, if not hundreds of thousands that have left Russia since the war began. They'll have access to these videos which they could easily send to their friends back in Russia.
If the UK was invading Ireland and I saw a video of Irish special forces storming a British trench and the British soldiers were wearing converse and hoodies. I'd probably have more questions for the Ministry of Defence than th Irish special forces tbh
Btw I'm not having a go at anyone, I'm just trying to understand the logic of it, particularly seeing our own government has brought in restrictions on media coming in from the other way. I still see blocked sections on twitter, because of Russian media I use to look at.
LOL. The Russians killed were all charging towards the Ukrainians. The Ukrainians done the right thing every time. Very professional as well. I thought they were surrending the first time I watched it but on reflection... Nah.
No surrender at all, that is a different level of training right there. The Ukrainians have taken up a crossroads position in the trench, the Russians are running around the trench to reposition themselves, as they do this they're running right into the Ukrainian soldiers. The hairpin reactions from that Ukrainian soldier is ****ing impressive. Before that Russian soldier has time to even look up, he's been hit 3 times. Potato claiming they're unarmed as they holding AK47s is madness. Should he be shouting "hands up, lay on the ground!"
Some didn't have any weapons visible. The first one clearly did. I suspect they were being flushed out of other tunnels with grenades and forced to run the way of the waiting gunmen. I do fully understand in the rush of things, you probably want to go ahead and kill the guy who could potentially kill you by drawing a weapon. Not discounting that... But it's hardly a good promotional video.
I thought you were going to post it's either not real or it's a war crime if they're surrendering. You mentioned the Geneva Convention when it comes to filming it is also a valid point. In the Iraq war iirc, American soldier dead bodies or they'd been captured (can't remember exactly) and the Americans calling that war crimes. In another video (posted on here I think) it had Ukranian soldiers filming shooting captured soldiers in the leg, some of them bleeding out and dying from their wounds. I'm not surprised none of it was taken up by the major news channels as we are supposedly on their side, but if it was the Russians doing it, it would be plastered everywhere.
Don't think I've ever been wholeheartedly behind this war, no matter how much I try and understand it from the Ukraine or even West point of view. At the same time we can't let Putin run amok, but we as in the West were the ones that kept poking the big bear, even if indirectly. I just am not seeing a solution to this mess, so people will continued to be slaughtered and the cost will affect and is affecting everyone, whether that be in grain or money. Thankfully I'm not the one who has to find the solution.
Very much this. Ukraine defending its land vs Russia I can get and support. But the West piggybacking onto it as an opportunistic way to pummel Russia and Putin, nah not so much. Do the Americans really give a **** about Ukraine? Do they even want it to end, or does it suit them for Russia to be drained militarily and economically the longer it goes on. It's all a bit to sycophantic if you ask me.
Your point about America really giving a shhite about Ukraine, is what worries me if Putin decides to get ****ty with the UK. I sometimes think America is all gob and no trousers, and if Russia were to do something to the UK, the Americans would be sneaking off with their tail between their legs.
They'll use it to peddle 50 years of sanctions against Russia that's all, whilst blackmailing everyone who ever did any business with Russia to sign up to trading with them on their terms. That's about the level of importance we are to them. All about the money.
Simple question, would the world be a better place if the U.S. just kept its fcking nose out of everyone's business? Not stick their armed forces anywhere, not sell arms to anyone, not use financial initiatives to promote conflict, just let the rest of the world live and die on their own terms.
Bears are majestic animals, with a rich history and such But if one charges you for being in its territory, you pop it in the fkn head and be done with it
