Inevitable really, cream always rises to the top. Hope we get good money for him when the time comes, at least it wont be a Turner style disaster, was reading Duffens twitter last night, the man is deluded, I blame him totally for the sales of Turner/Myhill and the whole Bullard debacle
Typical the likes of Bolton and Everton have had him watched - clubs with little money hoping to poach an up and coming NPC player. The lad has really shone this season but hopefully the likes of NB can advise him he's better off here, certainly in the short term, to develop as a player than more than likely bench sit at a PL Club.
i would hope he would stay at least until the summer and see what division were in ,but if we had to sell surely a fee of about 4-5 million is the going rate he is easily as good as mills if not better but knowing city they would sell for half that
That Paul Duffen twitter is hilarious There's no way him and Percy aren't the same person. I did laugh at that latter's question to Garcia though
TONYWARNERSFACE TONY_WARNERS_FACE @RichGarcia19 Do you wish NP had left before he dismantled the whole squad and ditched Ash et al?
No, though it was only posted at 9pm yesterday. I don't know if Garcia will have read it or not, I'm not a twitter twat.
he is being watched eh ? what a surpirse. everton and bolton ? wow both in relegation dog fights. i would say its more likely next summer than in january. Chester is not yet ready for the PL and hopefully he will be next August with Hull City. dont you just love all the worry warts. lol.
indeed. but NB has been there and done it. he can guide and advise and these lads are not ready for PL relegation battles. it could finish there careers. They are all better off staying put and see what happens next summer. This group can get us up. NB first priority is to improve the ""Goals For"" as everything else is already in place. imo.
At the end of the day, this is what you want, if EPL teams are showing interest in your players it shows that they are performing well, which is good for the team.
