Is it any wonder that people have so little confidence in our politicians these days? They have wasted half a day of Parliamentary time debating a Privileges Committee report into a man who has resigned from Parliament and the only sanction they can force on him is denying him the right to visit the Westminster bar because he called them a kangaroo court. They are all a bunch of liars and, no doubt, will be claiming expenses for various modes of transport to get home after staying for the vote. The TV news only seemed to be bothered about the fact that Rishi Sunak was not bothering to show up for this pointless charade. No word on whether Lord Lucan turned up.
