    Just a cotton picking minute. Don’t you go linking us ‘walking football’ gadgies with last seasons fiasco. Actually, we like to call it scampering football. It’s marginally faster than walking but not really running. Honest ref I was just ambling onto the ball. I am often accused of having ‘quick feet’, but usually by the other team. My side see no problem with my pace. So I’m only a cheating bar steward when I’m on the other side.

    When’s the first day back at the training ground? Could see some of line ups this pre-season with players still not securing moves

    You’re optimistic, most of that line will be off soon. The only thing that might keep them at SMS is us standing firm on decent transfer fees as the vultures circling us are expecting a discount fire sale

    Gavin Bazunu, Will Smallbone, Jan Bednarek, Stuart Armstrong, Joe Aribo and Kameldeen Sulemana have all represented their country this week.
    With preseason starting next week, will they still have a break or will we insist they come in?

    Still worth a visit for me to see any up and coming talent. I am near

    First time I saw Theo was a pre season friendly at Basingstoke
    He came on for 2nd half when it was 1-1, ripped them apart with his pace and Saints won 6-1
    He was 14!!!
