I said clubs not a single club. It was a general point Castro. I agree about some of our "fans" being unreasonable but if you visit twitter it seems to be the way things are now.

No offence, where are you getting circa £360 from? That's around about the top price mark for full paying adults,if you factor in the free entry's,the next to nothing children and the surprisingly low £100 a season youths, the average could be fairly low?

I understand his desire to put bums on seats in an attempt to create an atmosphere but the revenue isn't going to match some of our rivals who charge more but still manage to draw crowds.

Jesus Christ, talk about having an argument in an empty house. I have no idea if there are any cost savings. Quite frankly I don’t give it that much attention. All I am trying to say is if they want to give someone a better deal give it to the folks who go to live games not the folks who stream.

Sounds like no change to the time replays go up which unfortunately seems out of our hands. In Australia with games at 2am, being able to have On Demand replays (full replay available as soon as the game finishes) would hugely boost subscription numbers, as I know a lot of older fans who just can't stay up past 2am to watch City who don't subscribe, but would if they could wake up 7am Sunday and flick on the game without having the result spoiled.

I think this is changing with the new EFL TV deal starting season after next but it would have a huge impact on subscribers and revenue worldwide for a lot of clubs, so surely a no-brainer for International rights even if they can't do anything domestically.

Fine. So you think we should reduce some of the cheapest prices for admission even further? Fans of some teams in League 1 pay more than us. And have the money to spend on players as well. Thinking there will somehow be enough savings on doing our own streaming to fund ticket reductions is laughable.

The atmosphere won’t be any better if the extra people are families with kids all sat quietly. We have few enough vocal fans as it is, just a couple of sections in North Stand and half a section in East Stand compared to whole ends at other stadiums. Not helped by the ridiculous amount of stewarding. Have you seen any other stadium where there’s more stewards stood between sections of home fans than between the home and away ones?

Norwich doesnt have any comparable clubs for miles around. City have Leeds and the Sheffield clubs a train ride away. Maybe people wouldnt go from Hull to watch other teams but people who live in Selby or Goole may.

Or two rugby league clubs snapping at their heels to gain the moral high ground as the clubs to support. #whatbottlethrowingenquiry?

Ipswich is nearby. And why the **** would anyone other than an utter twat travel from East Yorkshire to watch teams in Wessie Land and thee thy thum land? Leeds is closer to Burnley than Hull but you don’t come across a load of Burnley Whites.
Unfortunately people from Hull, Beverley, Driffield and Brid do go to watch other teams as can be seen on the stations on the way to Hull and in Paragon. We even appointed someone as a fans liaison officer who in the past used to organise coaches to Man Utd.

Yes, some right rugby fanatics at the moment. 8,127 at the MKM for a Cup quarter final. It was on TV and cost of living crisis trotted out as an excuse.Mind you the BBC said it was rocking. They also said Wigan, which was half empty was an amphitheatre of noise, It isn’t just RH and the HDM who act like PR agents for RL. Rovers fans saying having to go all the way to Leeds for a 5pm kick off is too much, they have to be up for work. They will be back by 9 o’clock FFS. It is like they are having a competition for who can make Hull look the most ridiculous.

I dont think football fans would interchange between Norwich and Ipswich.
Neither Goole or Selby people class themselves as the East Riding (Goole is in the East Riding now but historically has been in the West Riding). I'm not saying that people in Hornsea will go to watch Sheffield Wednesday but people interested in football would quite easily go to watch other clubs if they are equidistant from Hull.
You'll find that in Lancashire and West and South Yorkshire people go to matches in the other counties.
A good friend of mine lives in Bradford but she watches Manchester United.
Very few people are put off by artificial boundaries.

There’s a surprise, someone not from Manchester going to watch Man Utd<laugh> Though, as you know, watching and supporting are not the same thing. I know a couple of Bradford City fans and their biggest contempt is for Bradford people who support Leeds United. One difference in Bradford is that they don’t have Bradford rugby fans hoping the football club doesn’t do well.

Ipswich is some 45 miles from Norwich but due to the roads in the fenlands it takes longer to get between the two than it does from Hull to Leeds so not a good comparison really.

Lots of people seem to think it is quite reasonable for people from Hull and East Riding to support a a wessie team and make excuses for it.

Google maps gives a longer travel time for Hull/Leeds than Norwich/Ipswich.Not that anyone from, Norwich would support Ipswich and vice versa.

It is a shorter distance from Middlesbrough to Sunderland and Newcastle than Hull to Leeds yet you don’t see Smoggies heading up there to support them.

We are City members and only missed one game last season but I take my lad to Man Utd and daughter to Man City. I dont see why it has to be an issue. They support the Manchester clubs as second teams and I get to watch some top quality football. Does not get in the way of City, we have never chosen Utd/Man City over the Tigers, but we enjoy going.
What I dont understand is the propblem it causes so many people who support City. There isnt much more I can do than pay for my seats and attend every game at the MKM. I buy the kids a ton of replica gear, which they wear all year round not just game day, but it still seems to annoy mates of mine that we also go to watch other games live.

Not on about people like you. The problem is with the sorts from Hull who support other clubs and cheer them on against City which I am sure you don’t do. Doubly so for rugby fans who go on about how proud they are to be from .Hull but support clubs from other cities. You are a football fan not someone getting some sort of vicarious feeling of superiority because they have latched onto some team they have no connection with because they are successful.
When I worked in Leeds in the Revie days I used to go to matches midweek but was always at Boothferry for home matches, and a lot of away matches. Went to Birmingham City matches when I worked in Birmingham. Which looking back was strange as West Brom were the top side in the area at the time. When I went to our Rotterdam office went to Sparta Rotterdam. Would always watch a team if Inwas somewhere else but I would never support a team from elsewhere.

Did they tell you why they billed you in error and why your membership contract had not been terminated by some sort of communication from Hull City?
