Ball moving about a fair bit, uneven bounce and the outfield has slowed up. I think you'd struggle to chase it down.

 

He was never the right choice for captain. He just doesn't have the personality or the tactical nous. He is absolutely at his best when he's at 4, thinking about nothing more than his batting.

 

What ever we set them, we need to remember they have the best 3 batsmen in the world at the top of their order and 250 on this track isnt a huge total, especially if we are a bowler down for their 4th innings

 

Lack of spinner is going to be a problem for us. Assuming Moeen won't bowl much, if at all

That's 3 or 4 of our batsmen out to Lyons dancing down the wicket to Lyons.

 

Think Stokes wants this game won (or nearly won) today. No other reason for Root to be dancing down the track when the lead is only 137

 

I can see us declaring at or just after tea to try and force a win

Exactly It was short of a length and Root played all round it going for the big hit.
