Well have to admit, the uber was pretty good, not having to walk to find a taxi rank. Suppose the ANPR is not bad either, don't have to do anything, just drive your car, park and walk away, kid said he can add me to his account if I want, you can add multiple registrations. Think I might drive in out the car parks just for a craic
Deliveroo, JustEat etc. are probably going to cost the country billions in obesity but they’re great. No more calling the takeaway to read out your card number to a guy who can’t speak English or fumbling around for cash when the driver arrives. They do take about 25% of the revenue off small businesses but meh.
Uber is brilliant. Typically, I live in a city that doesn't have it, and the local firms have a cartel going on with taxis, but when I'm home in Manchester then uber is ****ing superb. The local cab firms have hopefully all died. Saltax, Swintax and Lynch can go **** off. They were always useless, scummy, rip off merchants who were an hour + late every time anyway. Uber's are on time, cheap, and you can sit there watching the ****ers on their way to you. Never used a Just Eat or Deliveroo and probably never will.
Had a great Dad's day. Pretty much as I said it woul be earlier. Just finishing off a glass of Rioja after a great lamb dinner by Mrs Chief. Nine holes with my son earlier and it won't be long before he's kicking my arse.
I’ve been wondering for a wee while about what to get for a tattoo. I’ve decided I’m going for a Lion King tattoo on my leg. It’s my favourite film of all time so it’s personal to me. Either going to have Scar and Mufasa fighting with Simba and Nala looking on. Or I’m going to use that scene on the top of a ridge where Scar lets Mufasa fall to his death and have the words God Save The King tattooed on. Guy is an award winning tattooist and he reckons he’ll do my full leg in a day and is only going to charge me a grand, which is cheap for him. His tattoos are like photos. Brilliant so he is.
Uber is **** in london. Handy if you are in zone 1 or 2. Any further out and the ****ers are picky and dont choose to accept your call out. The only ones thay do is if you go for uber exec which is like 50% nore expensive
Bro if youre not in zone 1 or 2 you aint in London anymore, stop complaining and get a horse or whatever it is people outside of London use to move around normally
Man this Lucy Letby case is grim as ****. Can see her getting off too as the case seems to be built on circumstantial evidence. Awful.
I was thinking this the other day listening to the media, that she is going to end up getting off, because she appears to have a reason for everything. Hopefully the Jurors are making notes of ALL the evidence, because this is one hell of a long trial to rely on memory alone.
