Australias last 3 batsmen are old school tailenders. We've only Jimmy Anderson who can't bat. I thought it was going to get away from us at one point but its game on, now.

Aye agreed pal. We could have a 50+ run lead now and that would give us an advantage. Instead its 50/50 going into the last innings.

I see David Boon is still going strong at silly mid off.

And why does rain have to stop play? I've never understood that.

Player safety. Usually when it rains it’s dark and the corker is harder to see. Imagine facing a 90mph bowler with reduced visibility, or the bowler not being able to grip the ball properly because of the rain and launching a beamer at your head and you’re unable to pick up the ball…

The rain can ruin the wicket as well. That’s why as soon as they feel a few drops the covers are on as quickly as possible.

Still plenty time to get a result here. The amount of rain that has fallen and forecast for it to be cloudy the next couple days will make it a totally different game. IF we can get a lead of 250. I’d be very confident of winning the game. Possibly even 200.

Good start. Ball seems to be moving about a bit and the wicket is giving an uneven bounce. Definitely think Australia would struggle to chase down 250.

I doubt they would need to chase down 250, just not get all bowled out by end of tomorrow

Now watch England declare on 200. Just to make it interesting.

Had a cheeky tenner on the draw yesterday when I saw the weather forecast. But I think England have this now, unless it pisses down tomorrow which my phone doesn't think it will.

I would say an England win is the least likely scenario out of the 3 possible ones

The draw is probably the least likely scenario. Aussies have started well this evening but tomorrow is another day.

Another couple of wickets and get them out tomorrow when it’s wet, cloudy and humid. It’ll be a totally different game then. We’d skittle them.
