According to Philip Buckingham's twitter feed Joyce wasn't keen on leaving United. Barmby's taking charge as caretaker manager. https://twitter.com/#!/PJBuckingham
For those who aren't on Twitter...... PJBuckingham Philip Buckingham Big turnaround for #hcafc. Warren Joyce's move to the KC is off. Nick Barmby will take charge on a caretaker basis. PJBuckingham Philip Buckingham #hcafc held talks with Joyce over the weekend but it seems he wasn't 100 per cent on leaving Man United. Big chance for Nick Barmby.
Could just have beenb a diversion as sorts, when we appointed Pearson we were sure it was Dave Jones coming this way, I think it might have been all but confirmed, then out of the blue Pearson popped up. If the Joyce deals off I'd hope we'd have a look at OGS, but I'm extremely doubtful we will, whoever the next manager is I'm sure he'll be british.
On bbc paper talk it says that Paul Scholes is being made manager of Man U reserve team, doesn't Warren Joyce do that job right now ? So what does it all mean? Is Joycey coming here or where is he going?
i think my points on the differences between being a coach for someone elses' players in a fairly stress free league and being manager of a championship side are quite probably validated. The guy likes his comfy shoes , - ah well onwards and upwards
That's the problem, we're Hull City! If there's one thing I know that comes with the territory of being a Tiger, we never do things easily!
If Joyce isn't coming because he doesn't want to leave Man U why didn't he make that clear at the start and not waste everyone's time?
OGS has said that he would only move back to England if it was a Premiership team so I dont think there is a cat in hells chance of him coming.
Suprised why we went in for Joyce again, after he turned us down last time the managers position came up. The OGS rumour was always pie in the sky. Dunno who even believed he'd come here in the first place. Most likely to be Karl Robinson from Franchise FC
