That's gonna rise, as people on fixed mortgage rates, get a massive hike in their interest rates. Desperate times, for hard working UK people.
You’re absolutely right Custard and I have learnt something today. Unlike “Excitable Eddie” I never claimed to be an expert on hydrogen, only that I was asked around 6 weeks ago to get involved in the hydrogen plant installations that my company have been shortlisted for. My only involvement, as such, is that to qualify for the hydrogen plants you have to have a “take off” for the hydrogen produced by September 2026 (govt stipulation) and this will require around a £6m capital investment on large production boilers.
You at least tried to imply you had some knowledge in your initial post copied below, and then got prickly as each layer of your ignorance was peeled back. It's not a green fuel, and eco-scientists are against it being described as such, as it is dependent on how it is produced. Blue hydrogen has a larger greenhouse footprint than gas, coal or diesel oil for example. Grant Shapps has recently hinted that he's minded to reverse his initial support and funding for pushing hydrogen for domestic boilers and is looking to cut state funding on projects too. I've touched on a few other points, which you will simply ignore, because it's me that posted them and you run on emotion and bitter hate rather than rational thought, but feel free to have a look and ask questions to fill the big gaps in your understanding. Your initial post:
It's hard to decide which of them is the thickest. Part of their issue is that they'll never learn, because they can't cope with facts that contradict their fantasy version, especially when they're given by someone from the 'other' side that their deluded version has decided are thick and ignorant, but they've based that fantasy on no facts or knowledge at all.
During occupy Wall Street the bankers were beginning to crap their pants as the plebs figured out the Federal reserve fiat currency scam, being bailed out by the tax payers . So they invested in BLM & the rainbow ****s movement, Extinction rebellion etc etc to keep the idiots fighting with each other rather than unite against the Globalist elite
The 'goals' of the activists are usually very vague to say the least, the transvestite cult being one current example, where they demand 'something'. Anyone with the slightest knowledge of behavioural science and influencing change would see the methods of each of those as a worked example of how not to do it, and instead how to set people against your movement. I can't help thinking it's designed that way.
I didn’t imply anything other than the Tories do have a strategy for green energy and gave an example to counter Donuts claim. Custard then commented on my hydrogen story to which I replied, I even acknowledged your article around the over capacity of renewables in Scotland, which by the way you whined that I didn’t read it At that point you decided to jump in even though I have absolutely no interest in engaging with you. So carry on “Excitable Eddy”, I’ve already admitted that I’m not an expert on this subject, so enjoy your “moment in the sun”. I’m sure you think you deserve it
