Sorry to hear about your Dad mate. Share your hopes for a cure soon. We will need there to be one given that it’s a ticking timebomb and the lack of investment until recently.
As a kid there were a number of things that I hated about him - being a jock who played for Leeds and Man U, but I thought he was a great player - hard as nails, committed, but not dirty. He was someone who was a great reader of the game and, with him being very well spoken, he was an excellent pundit. Rest in Peace, a great loss.

Know the feeling mate dealing with it now with my mother, she's now I a care home as my dad died just over a year ago. No-one who hasn't witnessed it will ever understand what it's really like. I was probably one of those arsehloes that would probably make a joke about it, till you experience it yourself. Probably one of the worst diseases about, its like my mother has already died yet I have to watch her suffer as a stranger, heartbreaking
