Went for Parker as Farke would be a more divisive figure in the dressing room and it appears we have many delicate little cherubs in there. Corberan would cost money and hasn’t got the two promotions on his CV that the other two have.
Out of that lot Farke for me. That’s is of course assuming he’s been approached and is willing to take it
ASSUMING the 49ers back the new guy and assuming the director of football brings in decent players and assuming we hold on to a few decent players... Any of the three should win us promotion, it shouldn't be that difficult as long as you have experience of what it takes in the championship and all three do. Farke is easily the bottom of the pile for me, he shouldn't even be considered. I posted an article link on another thread and I could have written it myself, it exactly echo's my thoughts on why Parker is better than Farke One of the main things is Parker walked into two completely different squads, the second time around for Farke he was already well established at Norwich, the players knew what was expected, Farke also had Pukki and Buendía to thank Now I am not a Parker fan, he is just head and shoulders above Farke in my opinion and the more likely of the two to do better in the PL if backed That leaves Corberan, we have no idea how he would do in the PL and he has won a promotion with us as assistant to Bielsa, Bielsa was once quoted as saying he values Corberan's opinion more than his own. We want all the fans singing from the same sheet on day one, I feel Corberan would unite the fan base better, he would be good for the abundance of U21 talent we have, for me: 1) Corberan 2) Parker 3) Farke I'm not overly bothered as all three should win us promotion, my desire is to have a team that wins promotion and can then comfortably avoid relegation with players who can continue to improve. With promotion would the mindset of Farke and Parker be must avoid relegation, would they straight away become a little negative, lots of assumptions and "if and buts" I know but I wouldn't touch Farke. Like Shaks pointed out, I would prefer someone like Potter but if it is a straight choice between these three...
The only guarantee Ristac is that whoever is appointed there will always be someone on here who'll have a negative opinion on them.
Soon be Christmas, and whoever gets the gig can have an early present of the sack then we can get through the other two before seasons end
Of those three I'd take Farke. Had Norwich playing some decent stuff and even in the PL they were better than their results. Plus going down and coming straight back up in style was a very good achievement considering how many games they'd lost the previous season. Ticks more boxes than the other two anyway as Coberan is still learning but I'd still take him above Parker who looks like he wears his wife's underwear and loves himself just a little too much. Also the way just a few games into the season Parker publically stated the Bournemouth players weren't good enough was a disgrace, yes they strengthened in January but by then Gary O'Neil had already got a great tune out of them when Parker couldn't be arsed.
As Jammy points out, Parker is just as a divisive in the dressing room. The whole Bournemouth squad turned on him as he made the cardinal sun of throwing his players under the bus (nothing to do with me). That said, I don’t mind if the new coach upsets a few in our team, soft ****ers the lot of them.
